My dear friends and family,
Happy Thanksgiving! I hope all is well for you and your families, and I hope that you are keeping warm. Thank you for your believing in me as a missionary. I feel of your concern, your love and support always! Thank you!
This has been a wonderful week. It began with wonderful news on Monday, Rosalie, one of our investigators had her baby! They are both happy and healthy. His name is John Lawrence. And imagine this, he is named after our mission president, President Tanner! Rosalie heard his name announced at District Conference in Calape and liked the sound of the name Lawrence. Rosalie and Reylan are our investigators who are preparing for marriage in order to be baptized! Many miracles. Heaven felt so very close in their home this week.
As well, our activities with the branch have been successful! We have a follow up activity this coming Saturday to gain referrals. Our hope and prayer is that these activities will unite and strengthen the members in the Calape branch in order to invite others to come unto Christ! Especially in this Christmas season!
We have a new investigator named Brother Allan, and he has an amazing desire to find the truth, the true church. He is one of our few progressing investigators, and he is incredibly receptive. He is close to finishing the Book of Mormon, in less than one week! It really is amazing. We are actively working with the members to help and fellowship him and his family.
I am so full of gratitude for the hand of the Lord in my life, and the ability I have to see His hand in the lives of not only you, my friends and family, but those with whom I serve here. And, as well, I am full of love for Sister Mendoza and Sister Reyes. We are so different, but there is an infinite amount that I can learn from them. I am so grateful!
Remember this this week, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, ye are little children, and ye have not as yet understood how great blessings the Father hath in his own hands and prepared for you; and ye cannot bear all things now; nevertheless, be of good cheer, for I will lead you along. The kingdom is yours and the blessings thereof are yours, and the riches of eternity are yours. And he who receiveth all things with thankfulness shall be made glorious; and the things of this earth shall be added unto him, even an hundred fold, yea, more." (D&C 78:17-19)
Thank you! I love you all!
