Hello! This is just a quick update! Sister Lappay is transferring to Davao, Cebu and I am staying here in Calape. I will lead the area with Sister Mendoza, who will do my follow up training and at the same time, train a new Sister missionary. So a crazy schedule. Today I have P-day with Sister Lappay for her to prepare, and tomorrow will be my real P-day with my new companions. So, I split my email time in half! Today I wrote to President Tanner, and tomorrow I will write a better update about my week!
With looking forward to transfers, as well as progressing in our area, Sister Lappay and I have enjoyed our last week together! It feels good to graduate from training and I am grateful for the opportunity to meet Sister Mendoza and the incoming Sister this evening or tomorrow morning. There was some confusion with the transfer list, but the Zone Leaders and Sister Training Leaders in our area helped to clear it up. I am very grateful for the opportunity to lead this Calape area as my follow up training, as well as serve my new companions. Honestly, though, it is taking all of my faith and courage to keep my head up and trust in the Lord. I do not feel ready, but I know that this assignment along with these new responsibilities will challenge me in new ways, giving me opportunities to learn and grow, becoming a more Christlike missionary.
Thank you! I love you! Thank you for believing in me!
Love,
Sister Shanna Stanley
