Hello, my friends and family! I love you each so very much. I hope and pray that all is well and that you are happy!
All is well, here in the Lapu Lapu 1st Ward. The baptism of Sister Arjean Dizon is on March 5th and we believe that she is ready! I have been nervous to lead my first baptism, but the missionary leaders here are very patient and helpful. We are very excited about the progress of our investigator, Sister Angel Montemayor. She is from a part member family, and she has been reading and studying the Book of Mormon! She has realized that there is truth to be found, and this is it. It is amazing to witness true conversion take place.
The attached pictures are of a wonderful family home evening with the Bongcawil family, and the birthday of cute Justine. With the Bongcawil family, we sang How Great Thou Art, and we shared 3 Nephi 12:16, from the talk of President Monson. The spirit was so strong in their home at that time, and the influence on their mother, was evident. It is amazing to witness these miracles. Justine, turned 12 this Wednesday and was so happy. We brought him violet cake, by his request, we sang to him and gave him a CTR ring. With his physical disability, palsy, from what I can tell, his only wish is to be able to walk. It is amazing to see the Lord's hand in the lives of those we serve. He lives and He loves each of us.
Remember, as said by President Thomas S. Monson, "Everyday of our lives, we are given opportunities to show love and kindness to those around us." Continue in faith! Walk tall! Shine the light! Mosalig sa Ginoo!
With love,
Sister Stanley
