Dear family and friends, Hello! How are you today? It has been a wonderful week here in Lapu Lapu in the Maribago Ward. Sister Acosta is the best! Since my last letter to you on Wednesday, many great things have happened! We contacted a less active young man named Kim Orapa who is the older brother of our most diligent Sisters that are preparing for their missions, Ivy and Yvonne Orapa. All three of them have potential to go and serve! We also had a very effective Missionary Coordination Meeting and our ward is so supportive of the work. On Saturday, as part of the Mandaue Stake, we had the National Family Week celebration. All was well, and we did all that we could to have a missionary purpose and act as representatives of Jesus Christ. We hope that next year the events will be more organized and with more attendance of members, investigators and friends. On Sunday, we had an amazing turn out in Sacrament Meeting! 145 was the count! We miraculously had 7 investigators that came to church, 4 of which are preparing for baptism and the rest are progressing towards that happy day. In preparing for General Conference, our broadcast is one week behind yours, this morning I studied A Pattern for Peace by Bishop W. Christopher Waddell, ultimately teaching us that the peace we all seek requires us to act, by learning of Jesus Christ, by listening to His words, and by walking with Him. What an amazing invitation! Jesus Christ is the Prince of Peace! Mosalig sa Ginoo! Have a wonderful week!
