My family and friends,
Hello! Good morning! We have had a wonderful week, even amidst the stresses and changes of transfer week. Luckily, Sister Mendoza, Sister Reyes and I are staying together for another transfer! Thank you for all of the service and love you have for us as missionaries, we surely feel the love of the Lord through your prayers. Thank you dearly! As well, Typhoon Melnor is passing us slightly to the north, we have not even experienced heavy rain yet! Thank you for your faithful prayers for our protection.
I am very happy to stay here in Calape with my wonderful companions, Sister Mendoza and Sister Reyes. I feel like we have unfinished business here, so I am very grateful to have more time with these people whom I love so much. This past week has been very exciting with many Christmas celebrations! With our Cebu East Mission Christmas devotional, the Trainer/Trainee Conference, and transfer week, as well as our very successful Calape branch Christmas party, we feel full of Christmas spirit.
Haha... actually the Lord works in mysterious ways. My testimony of that is truer and truer each day! I just received a call that there was another mistake on the transfer list, it turns out that I am being transferred to Lapu Lapu, on Cebu. I leave early tomorrow morning. I know nothing about this new area, except for the fact that it is in the temple zone. A most wonderful Christmas present. I must trust in Him! Well, continue in faith, my dear family and friends! Mosalig sa Ginoo!
With love,
Sister Stanley
